Visiting all four in quick succession was an interesting way of seeing which ones had the loudest voices and which elements spoke softly but stayed in the mind. I think most people in Britain are imbued with the Arts and Crafts aesthetic but it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy other visions too – nothing old fashioned in that!

An interesting range of gardens -the last two of which resonated the most . I guess i am an old fashioned artsy crafty kind of gal . thanks for broadening my horizons!
