What an absolutely fascinating place - and so beautifully described that, -at moments- I felt as if I was there with you. I love the way that you have incorporated details of the garden's history as you take us through and around these connected yet sometimes separate settings that ultimately form the whole. You convey the misty dream of it all but also the counterpoint of the gardeners' busy and noisy arrival .
Your photos and text work so well together - And , ah , those snails and the spiders' 'spun bunting'. . . . an exquisite and adroit reminder of some of the true custodians of this garden.
